Industrial Gas Applications

As the world changes there are challenges in handling the temperatures and pressures required for many industrial gasses.

Old types of gasses such as Carbon Dioxide (R744) and Ammonia (R717) have to use steel tubes, and of course stainless steel can be a great solution for these and for high pressures.

Noble gasses, Xenon, Helium, Neon, are very hard to contain, and require special tubing and heat exchangers.

Handling Hydrogen is very difficult, as this small molecule likes to escape via any possible hole.

In many cases this has to be at 15,000 PSI, (1034 BAR) and thus requires special production and testing.

Thermogym has solutions for any type of heat exchange required for industrial gas applications, from the prototype stage to full production.

Gas Compressors

The new generation of compressor for gasses, such as Nitrogen and Hydrogen require very strong heat exchanger in the cooling system.  Copper and aluminium do not cut it. Thermogym pressure tested stainless steel heat exchangers can withstand all currently required pressures. Industrial Gas Applications

Hydrogen Fueling Stations

The control of the temperature of Hydrogen going into any transport vehicle is very important.  It cannot be too hot or too cold. This has to work at high pressures and has to be fast. Thermogym can make with ASME approved welding up to 1034 Bar tested heat exchangers. Contact us for details!     […]

Xenon Cooling

Cooling inert gasses can be a challange.  Themogym stainless steel units are perfect for all types of inert gasses, not just Xenon, but all of the rest!   Industrial Gas Applications

CO2 High pressure

Thermogym are experts is stainless steel fin and tube heat exchangers and are thus on the forfront of CO2 technology. Let’s explore why you would want to use this gas! Using R744 (CO2) as a refrigerant has several advantages, particularly for environmental, efficiency, and safety reasons. Here are the key reasons for choosing R744 in […]

Ammonia

Ammonia cannot flow in copper, thus for the best possible use of this as a refrigerant steel is required. We find that today the stainless steel is not that much more than carbon steel, thus if your are designing a new system with ammonia, THERMOGYM can offer stainless steel units of any size.   For […]

Hydrogen Evaporators

Transporting liquid hydrogen requires evaporating at special temperatures and pressures. Thermogym has the ability for small compact units. When you provide us with the details then we can design one for you!   Back to : Industrial Gas Applications
